As Head Coach Magnani recently stated “Winning a league title is never easy” The will to win and skill level have to be in place. A healthy squad also looms large throughout the dual meet season. “One thing does not change from season to season. Commitment, determination and hard work; and then the wrestlers must balance the rigors of their academics.” The team will carry about 54 wrestlers this year. We expect big things this year. This year’s team is led by 3 all-county wrestlers and 4 all-league wrestlers. Jonathan Joe, Francois Guerrier and Kyriako Curiacopoulos are returning all-county wrestlers. Dan Flynn, Darnell Williams, Ranley Duret (league champion), and Ricky Byrne are all-league. If everyone returns and remains healthy this will be a solid line-up from 103lbs to 215lbs.

The experience of the athletes being on a County Runner-up team in 2004-2005 is huge. Thirty-four returning wrestlers have seen first hand what hard work and dedication can do.
